New Feature: Auto-Summary for Church Newsletters—Because You’ve Got Enough to Think About
When you’re juggling events, ministries, volunteers, and the everyday needs of your church, writing a newsletter can feel like one more overwhelming task on a never-ending list.
That’s exactly why we built ChurchCopy.ai’s newsletter builder, to help churches like yours create beautifully organized newsletters in just seconds.
And now, it’s even smarter.
What’s New?
We’re excited to introduce our newest feature: Auto-Summary.
With this update, when you select your date range and ministry types, ChurchCopy will still pull in all the event blurbs from your copy packages, just like before.
But now? It goes one step further.
ChurchCopy will actually read through everything going into your newsletter and write a custom summary at the top.
This means the intro of your newsletter will now be a warm, helpful snapshot of everything coming up that week, generated automatically for you.
Why It Matters
Here’s the truth: Most church newsletters don’t struggle with having too little information. They struggle with how to start.
That first paragraph can be the hardest part. You’re trying to figure out:
- How do I open this in a way that feels natural?
- How do I tie all these events together?
- How do I make it engaging without rewriting each announcement?
ChurchCopy’s new auto-summary handles all of that for you.
Instead of a scattered list of announcements, you get a clear, friendly summary that helps people quickly see what’s coming up and why it matters.
It saves time. It gives your newsletter a stronger voice. And it keeps everything feeling more connected and intentional.
How It Works
Let’s say your church has a family worship night, a youth event, and a volunteer training all in the same week.
When you select that week in the newsletter builder and choose the relevant ministries, ChurchCopy will:
- Pull in the newsletter blurbs from each of those event packages
- Automatically generate a short, cohesive summary at the top
- Give you the option to copy, edit, or regenerate the summary if you want to tweak it
It’s fast, accurate, and easy to use.
Example:
Here’s an example of what the auto-summary might look like:
There’s something for everyone this week at Grace Church! Whether you’re joining us for Family Worship Night, sending your student to our youth hangout, or attending the volunteer training on Saturday, we’re excited to connect with you. Scroll down for all the details!
Just like that, your newsletter has a voice and your people have a reason to read it.
Built for Churches Like Yours
ChurchCopy was built by people in ministry, for people in ministry. We know your time is limited, your staff may be small, and your communication needs are big.

What’s Next?
We’ve got even more features coming soon that will make your workflow smoother and your communication even stronger. Stay tuned for updates to how you manage images, event scheduling, and even multi-campus support.
